For measuring pillars with 400mm outside diameter, we are now able to offer standardised covers made from stainless steel (V2A).
The hinged and lockable covers have a wall thickness of 1.5mm and a cover height of 55mm. They offer optimal weather and anti-vandalism protection for the pillar plate and can be installed in 10-15 minutes. The hinge, and the closing bracket, can be glued into the pillar using commercially available 2-component chemical mortar (e.g. 106-IM345).
Included in delivery are the hinged cover, the hinge, a striker plate, a high-quality padlock and the installation instructions.
In order to ensure the cover works correctly, it is essential that the upper edge of the inner pillar is 40mm lower. (See picture)
