VARIO-PLUS boundary marker
The optimum for multiple boundary marks
VARIO-plus is the lightweight, further developed version of the VARIO system that has been proven over many years. VARIO-plus uses smaller diameter shafts and smaller heads.
The head and shaft are fixed together by means of a plastic component cast into the head and a self-locking cone on the shaft side. In contrast to other established systems, the graduated diameter of the shaft makes it particularly easy to drive in. The major part of the shaft can be driven in effortlessly through the head. A very high surface pressure is achieved in the joint as a result of the best possible match between the internal diameter of the head and the external diameter of the upper part of the shaft, thereby giving the head a very high level of protection against skewing.
The new VARIO-plus boundary marker is, in our opinion, the absolute best in boundary markers and is outstanding thanks to the following advantages:
- Extremely high extraction force attributable to three hook anchors
- Very high side stability of the marker due to the relatively large shaft diameter
- Head has a very high level of protection against skewing
- Particularly easy to install due to graduated shaft diameter
- Pointed anchor ends make extraction particularly easy – even past small stones
- Sub-marking supplied loose (in preparation, available from approx. 12/2003)
- Different shaft lengths can be combined with polyester concrete heads with different inscriptions or with granite heads as required, resulting in low storage costs and the highest flexibility
- Particularly low weight and low transport volume result in low transportation cost
Polyester concrete with solid-cast plastic insert, with self-locking cone for particularly high level of protection against skewing between head and shaft.
Polyester concrete with solid-cast plastic insert, with self-locking cone for particularly high level of protection against skewing between head and shaft.
Natural grey granite. The anti-skew protection of the head is guaranteed here by means of a special shaft (GR version) because it is not possible to incorporate a cone insert for manufacturing reasons.
Galvanized heavy-gauge steel tube with three galvanized extraction anchors.
A driving-in tool appropriate to the shaft length and the universal extraction tool (not illustrated for space reasons) are required for installing and removing the VARIO-plus markers.
