SITE PROTECTION
Fully retro reflective signs with an edge length of at least 90 cm are specified by the German road traffic authorities for the safety of construction and surveying sites. The ground clearance of warning signs is also specified. These requirements are only met by our warning stands, Order No. 26 G.
However, practical experience shows us that many customers are not prepared to carry such cumbersome and heavy warning equipment in their vehicles and use them on site. The vast majority of our customers, therefore, ignore prevailing regulations and use popular, low cost folding signs (warning triangles) in the standard fluorescent version. In our opinion, this provides a perfectly satisfactory warning about your work, at least during daylight, even though it does not comply with regulations. In addition to the standard versions shown, we are also pleased to supply you with warning pyramids with special inscriptions, such as oil on road, channel digging, explosion hazard, police, etc. We can also supply folding signs with a different inscription on each side, against an additional price.
TRAFFIC CONES
According to the German StVO §43 only the use of reflective traffic cones is allowed to secure constuction sites and surveying crews working on streets. However the simple and cheaper non-reflective PVC-model is still often used for shorter periods of time during the day. The fully reflective models are heavier and therefore provide more stability. They could even be placed from a driving truck.

According to applicable road traffic regulations, only fully retroreflective cones may be used to protect construction and measurement sites. However, PVC cones in Day-Glo paint are still used for daylight markings due to their favourable price.
