APEX - Cylinder measurement
Axis determination of shafts, rollers, tubes, rollers etc.
The apex consists of a cleanly milled aluminum prism (Pos.1), which is placed on the cylinder to be measured. The prism is suitable for cylinders from 60 - 2,000 mm. The integrated neodymium magnets (pos. 2) hold the Apex reliably on all magnetic materials, and it can also be used conveniently overhead. For non-magnetic materials, the robust rubber bands Order No.: 46-1421 or Order No.: 46-1422 can optionally be used to fix the Apex in any position. The rubber bands are quickly and easily attached to the wire rope eyelets provided (item 3).
With the two integrated tubular spirit levels with an accuracy of 30' (pos. 4) and (pos. 5), the apex can be aligned both vertically and horizontally. The 45 mm long spring-loaded feeler (item 6) ensures a constant distance to the cylinder surface. For overhead measurements, the probe (item 6) can be fixed in place using the clamping screw (item 7). With the combination of magnetic base and ball prism (Ø 38.1 mm) included in the set, an offset of 70 mm can be expected.
The Apex is supplied in a practical transport case as a ready-to-use set.
