Klimax system

High-precision measuring and staking with ball prisms

In demanding construction and industrial surveying, the highest accuracies are often required for surveying, but especially for staking out points, which cannot be achieved with conventional prism poles.

With the KLIMAX system, you can achieve accuracies in the sub-millimeter range - in conjunction with appropriately accurate total stations.

The modular system basically consists of three components, which - depending on the respective application - can be combined in different variants:

1. triangular frame
2. base (holder for ball prism)
3. high-precision spherical prism

All components of the KLIMAX system are precisely manufactured and matched to each other.

We can guarantee a maximum point position deviation (relative to the prism center) of a few tenths of a millimeter.

Mode of operation Stakeout:
1. move spherical prism with base and triangular frame until no more deviation between nominal and actual coordinates is displayed
2. remove spherical prism from base and place in park ring
3. mark the point exactly with Edding/Fineliner or center punch.

How the oversize works:
(ball center/prism height: exactly 25 mm above the point)

1. center the triangular frame with base A exactly above the point to be measured up
2. place sphere prism in base and align with instrument
3. measure point with tachymeter

Note on the selection of ball bases
For ground-only applications, order the standard versions (A or C). For vertical applications or as a universal base for non-magnetic surfaces, we recommend the magnetic versions, where the ball prism is held securely in the base. All bases can be fixed in the triangular frame with a 4 mm Allen key.

KLIMAX-Basis A for measuring and marking out

KLIMAX-Basis A for measuring and marking out

The exact marking of the staked points is done with a waterproof edding/fineliner or with a sharp pencil.

KLIMAX-Basis P for staking on rough surfaces

KLIMAX-Basis P for staking on rough surfaces

Base P was specially developed for rough grounds.

KLIMAX base C for staking with centering pin

KLIMAX base C for staking with centering pin

After staking, the ball prism is removed and the guide insert with centering tip is inserted into the base for an exact fit.

KLIMAX-Basis B (for measurement only)

KLIMAX-Basis B (for measurement only)

The KLIMAX-Basis B is only suitable for measuring already existing and marked ground points.
