SECO and GS-SURVEY plus tripod for Prism-and Antenna Poles
If high precision in the measurement of total stations or GNSS systems is required, you should set up your prism or antenna pole with a two-or tripod. We supply the products of two manufacturers:
SECO
SECO two different series are offered. The premium quality meets the highest standards and quality is extremely high. We offer SECO tripods exclusively in this premium quality. The cheaper "Basic-Plus" series of SECO (made in China) is not recommended by us.
GS SURVEY plus
The GS-SURVEY plus tripods meet high quality demands. GS SURVEY plus prism poles are manufactured according to our strict quality standards in Asia. They are strongly oriented in the construction of the SECO-poles. They are very cheap and therefore our price-performance ratio.
Bipod or tripod?
We recommend bipods for short and easy prism and antenna poles. Especially we would like to show the "Dual Hinge" strut suspension for the bipod tripod 46-5217 57R. The double hinged on the tripod head hanging legs facilitate the setting up in difficult terrain and significantly save time.
Basically tripods should be used due to the higher stability used for long prism, antenna rods and carbon rods, for lack of the required clamping forces are lower than at the bar when using a bipod.
The high point load of the pressure piece can lead through a hard attachment to the clamp damage of the carbon fiber tubes.
