Ball bases for industrial measurement

The ball bases shown on this page can be used to measure edges, 90° inner and outer corners as well as convex and concave contours in industrial surveying particularly accurately and quickly.
All bases are made of stainless steel with highest precision. We guarantee a positional accuracy of the prism in the sphere of ± 0.03 mm. The height offset (distance between point and prism center) is 25 mm ± 0.03 mm.
All bases are equipped with an integrated permanent magnet with a holding force of approx. 2 kg, which holds the spherical prism securely in the base.
The spherical prism system has a diameter of 1.5" or 38.1 mm. The integrated mini prism, with a diameter of 25.4 mm, has an addition constant of -16.9 mm (LEICA + 17.5 mm) and a grinding accuracy of 2".

This ball prism with all-metal mount is manufactured so precisely that we can guarantee a center deviation of the prism center to the ball surface of ± 0.1 mm.
