Fast, accurate and safe locating and marking of underground infrastructure
The new RD7200 locating receiver is suitable for all industries and makes no compromises. It delivers accurate and effective work on a daily basis.
Speed, accuracy and reliable performance
Easy to set up and use - delivers fast, accurate and repeatable measurements.
Industrial display for outdoor use
RD7200 locator receivers and signal transmitters feature transflective low-power LCD technology. This utilizes ambient light to improve screen readability in direct sunlight and extend battery life.
TruDepth™ and signal current display for added certainty
Radiodetection's TruDepth displays accurate depth and signal current readings, but only when the RD7200 is correctly aligned over the target. The measurement consistency provides a high degree of certainty that the correct line is being tracked.
Peak+ mode for speed and accuracy
Peak+ combines the precision of Peak mode with the benefits of Guidance or Null locating.
- Guidance brings you faster to the peak position (signal peak).
- The comparison of peak and null signal allows you to quickly determine distortions caused by other lines, stubs or interference.
Construction
Easy to use and accurate, the RD7200 has eight active and three passive frequencies to cover the majority of locating tasks. The robust IP65 housing and high-contrast screen make it suitable for use in all weathers.
Power supply
In complex power supply environments, with multiple signals from high voltage equipment and cables, Radiodetection's dynamic overload protection reduces the effect of interference. Power Filters can also be used to trace a single target line under multiple cables.
Water/wastewater and pipeline
A wide range of active frequencies can be used to track electrically conductive pipes over long distances. Where probes or cameras are used to inspect pipes made of different materials (such as cast iron, clay, concrete and brick), the four probe frequencies of the RD7200 are ideal for quickly locating and tracking their position.
Telecommunications
The RD7200 has higher frequencies for locating high impedance cables and probe frequencies for tracing ducts and pipes. Higher frequencies can also be used to trace shielded cables without ground connections. Defects in cable and pipe sheaths can be located to within 10 cm (4") using Radiodetection's 8 kHz RF signal with a frame antenna (see accessories).
