The AD12 automatic tripod is used for automatic leveling of laser and surveying devices, especially total stations.
Of course, other devices weighing up to 10 kg can also be leveled automatically. The leveling range is +/- 12 gon in both axes, in one axis even up to +/- 18 gon. Leveling is performed continuously with an accuracy of 10 mgon.
All components including the servo motors, adjustment units, inclinometers and the measurement and control electronics are integrated in a dustproof and waterproof housing.
Leveling a theodolite/total station
The AD12 automatic tribrach is attached to a tripod or bracket using a 5/8" tightening screw. The orientation of the tilting axes is possible via notch markings. The theodolite or total station is force-centered in the tribrach using the LEICA system and locked.
The AD12 is powered either by an optional 12 V rechargeable battery (EB-12) or a mains adapter (NE-12/2A) using a connecting cable.
Due to its unique features, the AD12 automatic tribrach is extremely versatile:
- Automatic leveling
