The claw-system especially allows for very safe, comfortable and at the same time material-protecting fastening. In comparison to the „old“ system – that only used a fastening screw in one point - fastening with the new system is carried out via line-shaped and therefore much larger contact areas. In connection with the elaborate joint in the middle of the bracket and the calculator holding support considerably higher clamping forces can be applied. In addition, the pole or the tripod and especially the very expensive calculators are protected from bothersome scratches and dents.
The supporting part of the calculator holders and universal clamps is compatible with the respective previous product of the 108-5198-xxx series. Therefore, it is possible to use a calculator holder from the "claw"-system together with an "old" pole bracket, for example, without any problems.
The universal brackets of the „CLAW“-system have been constructed for the very common prism and antenna poles using an outer diameter of 32 mm.

The SECO universal brackets match all prism and ranging poles with an outer diameter of 32 mm. For poles with outer diameters of 15 or 25 mm the appropriate adapter sleeves are available.
The clever clamping mechanism with the centred joint guarantees safe and what is more important material-protecting clamping of the field calculator.
