MYZOX wide angle sliding prism Z-220P

The as yet undiscovered potential of the MYZOX Z-220P wide angle prism from Japan is breathtaking. The 5 individual prisms are distributed across an opening angle of 220° and also function reliably when automatically searching for a target in Powersearch mode. The robust aluminium housing means that the glass bodies, which have an anti-reflection coating, are protected from impacts. However, if a glass body is damaged, then it is simple and cost-effective for the user to replace it themselves.

The integrated adjustable 40´ circular level, in connection with the optional 4-part and extremely straight 9 mm mini prism pole, means that the Z-220P is always completely vertical on the measuring point. The consistent 9 mm bore means that the prism can be positioned anywhere on the pole. A clear view of the prism pole, with alternating red/white stripes every 50 mm, is ensured via an opening on the rear of the housing. In this case the prism is fixed into place with a clamping screw. The Z-220P, along with the 9 mm stainless steel spike with internal M6 thread, can be directly used for marking out, even with the batter boards.

Users who want to use the Z-200P on a prism pole with a fixed LEICA spigot can simply loosen it with the 46-LSP100 adapter. We also provide the 46-2090-25 adapter for users of SECO and GS Survey prism poles. The dimensions of the adapters are such that scaling of the pole is also in alignment with the actual prism height.

The 46-MAG50 adapter can be used if using the Z-220P on a prism pole with a fixed 5/8” external thread. With this combination, the prism height is 45 mm from the lower edge of the adapter.

The 9 mm staking spike on the Z-200P can simply be screwed onto the M6 outer thread on the adapter. This means the prism pole, or the Z-220P, can also be used upside down with the integrated circular level for extremely accurate measurements close to the ground.
