The use of a tripod is an absolute must when aiming over long distances and for height measurements with the Pythagoras function or with the aid of the tilt sensor if high precision is to be achieved.
The LEICA TRI75/TRI120/TRI200 tripod offers the highest precision in conjunction with the adapter matched to the top models LEICA DISTO™ X3, X4, D510, D810 touch and S910. With these adapters, the rotary/standing axis, tilting axis and laser axis are all at one point, thus enabling extremely precise measurements.
The LEICA FTA360 and Leica DST360 with slip clutches and endless fine drives are particularly convenient.
The LEICA TRI105 is a high quality, handy and lightweight, yet sturdy telescopic stand with a working height from 0.67 to 1.80 m. The tripod comes with a simple 3-way tilt head that allows very accurate measurements with all instruments of use with tripod socket.
A particularly inexpensive alternative to the TRI105 is the LEICA TRI75, which has a smaller working range of 0.42 - 1.15 m and is supplied without a tilt head.
Lightweight aluminum tripod with crank and bubble level, 1/4" mounting screw, clamp lock for easy set-up.
Weight: 1.8 kg
Extension length: 0.75 m to 1.15 m
Special adapter for the DISTO D810 touch for convenient and accurate aiming.
The LEICA FTA360 supports the new LEICA DISTO D810 touch which has a special reference setting for this adapter.
Rotating axis and tilt axis are equipped with special fine adjustment screws which can even be operated with gloves. In addition both axes have a slide device for a quick freehand switch and pre-adjustment without using the fine adjustment screws.
A major benefit of the LEICA FTA360 adapter is that you can fix your LEICA DISTO D810 touch exactly that way that the tripod tilt and rotating axis and the instrument laser axis meet exactly in one point. This allows to do exact measurements even when turning the unit horizontally.
The adapter can be mounted onto any photo tripod with ¼” thread; however we particularly recommend the LEICA TRI70 tripod in combination with the LEICA FTA360 adapter.
