Targets and level reference scales
We manufacture targets in engraved, multi-layered plastic or matt aluminum. 
The main facts in comparison:
The advantage of plastic brands, is the strong contrast between the target surface and brand character. Manufacturing tolerances, there are no really sharp-edged characters, tips and corners are rounded therefore always easy. In strong sunlight for long periods tend plastic tags to color changes.
Aluminum survey targets are slightly more expensive than in smaller series of plastic tags, but they can also be manufactured with very intricate contours. The contrast of the characters on light background is weaker and tends to direct sunlight to light reflections. Aluminum brands in terms of color changes caused by UV rays is extremely resistant.
Most of our brands are provided for both the dowel and for sticking. The most secure anchor installation is somewhat more time consuming than the adhesive mounting, but showing at sensitive facades, surfaces made of steel, etc. are often the only mounting option.
Provided Proper preparation and use of a suitable adhesive, an adhesive compound and an observation period of many years, is reliable.
Highly suitable substrates include steel, concrete, masonry and plastered surfaces.
