Measuring pillar for temporary monitoring campaigns

For relatively short-term monitoring campaigns, the installation—and subsequent removal—of traditional concrete monitoring posts with deep foundations is often uneconomical.

For such applications, we manufacture easily assembled and disassembled monitoring posts made of powder-coated steel according to your specifications.

The pillar itself consists of a 120 x 120 mm square tube with a wall thickness of 3 mm. The standard base plate measures 400 x 400 x 10 mm.

The instrument mounting plate (200 x 200 x 10 mm) is equipped with a 5/8" female thread, 4 x M6, and 2 x M10 threaded holes for mounting the weather protection cover and Tachylock (see below).
Since March 2026, the scope of delivery has additionally included a special screw (5/8" x 25 mm) with a countersink (Ø 12.4 x 13 mm), which is specifically designed for tripod mounting from above on mobile measuring posts as well as tunnel consoles of the type 14-TK400-M-1000-M. For installation, the 5/8" hex screw is inserted from above through the tripod and then securely fastened to the instrument mounting plate using a SW 24 socket wrench.

Upon special request, we also supply the instrument mounting plate with a fixed 5/8" threaded stud. In this case, however, installation of the Tachylock is not possible.

In addition to our standard model (see illustration) in a straight design with a total length of 1,500 mm, we also offer custom models for a wide variety of applications. Prices for these depend on the pillar length, type of mounting, and quantity ordered. Please allow 2–3 weeks for delivery.

The posts are secured using M10 heavy-duty anchors, which are included in the scope of delivery.
