Very precisely manufactured glass prisms in magnetic stainless steel ball mount (hardened, matt polished). Available in Ø 30 mm and 1.5" (Ø 38.1 mm). Measuring range up to 1,000 m, from 400 m we strongly recommend the 1.5" sphere.
The prism constant must be set correctly (with the correct sign) on the total station so that the slant range is corrected by this amount.

For the transport and storage of our ball prisms, we recommend the case no. 46-1468.

On request, the 46-1451-SP ball prism can be purchased with a test certificate from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology at a net price of € 135.00 in addition to the list price. This test certificate refers to the ball prism, the serial number of which is engraved on the back of the ball.
In addition to the position of the prism center to the sphere center, the prism constant K is specified, which was determined from several comparative measurements to a high-precision reference reflector.
When ordering, please add the suffix -PS (46-1451-SP-PS) to the order number.
To prevent accidental drops, the ball prisms are also available with a drop safety device.
