The permanent connection with the shaft is made by one or two strong hammer blows on the termination head.

The 00508 012-8 end head with M8 female thread is often used for monitoring slippery slopes, landfills, etc.
With a screwed-in prism adapter, a prism can be easily mounted on the termination head.

In case of very precise measurements of height and position, an additional half-round head screw made of stainless steel with a smaller centering can be screwed into the M8 thread of the 00508 012-8 termination head.

If you use the 46-NAZ-86 leveling adapter in addition to the LEICA 11R5-W adapter shown in the center, you will achieve the same height as the tilt axis of the LEICA standard prisms (86 mm) with the touchdown point for the leveling staff.
