Simple and inexpensive measuring device for measuring crack widths from about 1 mm with an accuracy of 0.02 mm.
To be eligible for repeat measurements to reproducible results, should the reference points are marked, for example, with a permanent marker.
In the most inexpensive analog variant of the vernier caliper must be read.
More convenient is the digital version.
