Tide gauges
With GOECKE tide gauges available for almost any application. Due to the relatively low demand and the theory many options available, we show in the catalog only vertical tide gauges. Pitched and stairs tide gauges are available on request in different qualities. The specific characteristics and advantages and disadvantages of the materials offered by us, we want to list briefly:
Plastic (foam):
Ideal as temporary staff gauge for short periods of observation applications where an individual product seems too expensive. Particularly cheap, but not very durable. Hard foam tide gauges we offer only in two standard versions, which are usually available from stock.
Aluminum stove enamelled:
Alu-level gauges are produced from AlMg2, an alloy with good resistance to weathering, seawater, salt and weak acids. The thicknesses are 2.0 or 3.0 mm. The division is applied with resistant paints and baked. This surface coating is not as high quality as one Feueremaillierung, but very inexpensive.
Steel fire-enamelled,:
Fire enamelled tide gauges are made of 1.5 mm thick steel plate and are especially corrosion and fading. To the extremely smooth surface dirt sticks. The enamel coating is much more resistant to mechanical stress than enamel, tolerates no point loading, eg by heavy blows. If the enamel coating flakes off, enamelled tide gauges have less corrosion than aluminum slats. By the complex manufacturing process enamelled tide gauges are much more expensive than painted types.
Fixing the tide gauges on the structure
In addition to the site possibly already existing or planned fixtures are available as support for our tide gauges C-shaped "Halfen" stainless steel, which can easily be dowelled on any stable surface. The bar is threaded with special locking plates and screws in stainless steel on these rails. The shape of the carrier bar enables an axial displacement for accurate height adjustment of the slat.
Delivery Times
Since each tide gauge is custom built for you, delivery times can not be avoided.

With our modular system you can quickly fix any tide gauge, cheap and safe. The C-section or Halfen channel is pegged to length on the solid substrate.
Ideal for short periods of use, or as a temporary solution. Made from high quality foam.
Robust staff gauge corrosion resistant aluminum AlMg2, material thickness 2.0 or 3.0 mm. The division is applied in stoving painting which is considerably more robust than a printed division.
